Velius provides sovereign, end-to-end Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) capability packages. We design the project, we manufacture the components and assemble the platforms.

 

But we don’t leave it there: We train operators and maintainers, we deliver in-country and we operate alongside national teams and mentor local organisations until self-sufficiency is achieved.

PLAN

  • Joint needs analysis with national stakeholders: Threats, use-cases, regulatory & airspace constraints.

  • Baseline Assessment: State of play today.

  • Operational concept (CONOPS), phased roll-out, certification path and safety case.

  • Data governance plan (geo-tagging, tamper-evidence, chain-of-custody for imagery/evidence).

  • Costed road-map covering hardware, training, facilities, spares and sustainment.

MANUFACTURE

Platforms bespoke for climate, mission and local supply.

  • Local assembly in country or manufacture under Velius QA (we can use our own factories or vetted partners).

  • Platform types: VTOL and short-endurance fixed-wing options for reach and endurance; modular payload bays for EO/IR, SAR, LiDAR and specialised sensors.

  • Hardened communications and secure C2 with retention and encrypted data-stores; options for forced-downgrade mitigation and spectrum management.

  • Full traceability of components, build records and configuration management to support Entry-Into-Service (EIS).

TRAIN

Operators, Maintainers, Commanders.

  • Role-based curricula: From remote pilots, sensor operators, mission planners, maintainers (MRO), airspace, safety officers, J3 Operations and J2 Intelligence.

  • Classroom theory, simulator hours and live flight exercises including night IR, BVLOS (where permitted) and change-detection missions.

  • Certifiable training outcomes and competency records that map to national qualifications.

  • “Train-the-trainer” pathways to seed local instructor cadres.

DELIVER

Logistics, Test & Acceptance.

  • Complete logistics plan: Customs, Export Licences, Import licences, test & acceptance trials, handover documentation.

  • On-site acceptance flights, platform tuning and delivery of spares / tools / technical data packs.

  • Initial operational stocks and spare-parts kits sized to agreed SLAs.

OPERATE

In Partnership.

  • Deploy to Forward Locations: Set up.

  • Either operate fully on behalf of the host nation during the initial phase (co-op model) or mentor / train approach.

  • Mission management, tasking & evidence handling conducted under agreed Rules of Engagement (RoE) and data sovereignty constraints.

  • Real-time reporting dashboards, COP feeds and integration into national data / incident systems.

Transition to Sovereign Capability.

  • Longitudinal mentoring: Joint Missions, QA (quality-assurance) audits, performance assessments and doctrine development.

  • Support for establishing local MRO and manufacturing capability, plus assistance securing local approvals and export-control compliance.
